Obverse 47 is identified by date placement at LE and a misplaced 8
digit in th denticles below and to the right of the 1st 8 of the date.
Obverse 47 has developed light to moderately heavy die flow lines
Reverse AT is in a similar die state as Obverse 47, with the
advancement of light to moderately heavy die flow lines. Reverse
AT has acquired a clash mark through the C of CENT.
Comments:
The Obverse 47 misplaced 8 in the denticles is most likely the 1st 8 of
an initial digit punch impression that was far to the southeast with
respect to the final date placement. The artifacts in the
denticles below the 2nd 8 of the date may be remnants of the 2nd 8 from
the initial date impression.
