Obverse 47 is identified by date placement at LE and a misplaced 8 digit in th denticles below and to the right of the 1st 8 of the date.  Obverse 47 has developed light to moderately heavy die flow lines

Reverse AT is in a similar die state as Obverse 47, with the advancement of light to moderately heavy die flow lines.  Reverse AT has acquired a clash mark through the C of CENT.

Comments:   The Obverse 47 misplaced 8 in the denticles is most likely the 1st 8 of an initial digit punch impression that was far to the southeast with respect to the final date placement.  The artifacts in the denticles below the 2nd 8 of the date may be remnants of the 2nd 8 from the initial date impression.

Variety 46 was first identified by David Killough, who submitted the above plate coin during mid January 2018 for inclusion in this book based on the Obverse 47 misplaced digit.
