Obverse 42 is identified by date placement at RH and date repunching that features initial date impressions to the north above the flag and left base of the 1 as well as to the north within the upper loop of the 9. Obverse 42 has developed moderately heavy to heavy die flow lines and the following die cracks:
1.  Die crack from 5:30 connecting the 1 and first 8 of the date.
2.  Die crack from the U of UNITED downward through the field to the left of the date.
3.  Die crack from the denticles at 2:15 downward through the tops of MERI of AMERICA.

Reverse AO is observed with a raised area below the wreath stem and is in a similar die state as Obverse 42, with the advancement of moderately heavy to heavy die flow lines.

Comments:   The initial date impressions around the 1 are quite significant, while the ones around the first 8 and 9 are minor in comparison.
