Die Polish Lines through CENT

Obverse 4 is identified by repunching to the south on the 18 and repunching to the north on the 9, with date placement at B.  Die polish lines are visilbe throughout obverse 4.

Reverse D is in a similar die state as obverse 4, with die polish lines visible.  The die polish lines are predominantly from the top of the lower wreath through CENT, with two prominent lines seen extending through the left base of the N and another through center of  the base of the T.

Comments:  The repunching of obverse 4 was first brought to my attention by Ed Nathanson in April of 2015.

The repunching seen within the lower loop of the first 8 is very light in comparison to the repunching of the 1 and 9.

Plate Coin:  Ed Nathanon, AU58
