Obverse 46 is observed with date placement at LE.  Obverse 46 has developed the following die cracks:
1.  Die crack segment between bust point and chin.
2.  Die crack from the denticles at 1:00 connects the tops of 'OF'.
Obverse 46.2:  The die cracks of Obverse 46 have become more severe.

Reverse AS has acquired clash marks from a previous assignment.  Reverse AS has developed the following die cracks:

2.  Die crack segment from die crack #3 extends upward through the center of the right wreath.
3.  Die crack from the denticles at 3:00 extends downward along the outer edge of the right wreath and through the middle and lower arrowheads.
4.  Die crack from the lower arrow shaft extends along the outer edge of the bottom of the wreath and continues along the outer edge of the left wreath to the upper left side of the shield.
5.  Die crack from the denticles at 6:45 extends upward through the arrow quill and intersects die crack #4.

7.  Die crack from 9:15 extends into the left wreath, where it intersects die crack #4.
8.  Die crack extends downward from die crack #4 within the outer left wreath at 9:30, where it splits into die cracks.  One crack extends to the top of the outer oak leaf at 9:00 and the second extends to the olive leaves.
9.  Die crack from the denticles at 10:30 extends downward into the left wreath, where it intersects die crack #4.

Comments:  Reverse AS exhibits the more advanced die state compared to Obverse 46, which indicates that Reverse AS was in service prior to the Variety 44 Die Pairing.  Reverse AS most likely acquired clash marks from this previous die pairing since Obverse 46 lacks any discernible clash marks.  The following illustrates the die state difference between Obverse 46 and Reverse AS:
