Obverse 16 is identified by an off-center clash mark at the right end of the ribbon, two off-center clash marks on the neck and a curved die line from the Y of LIBERTY into the feathers, with date placement at LE. Obverse 16 has acquired a clash mark in front of the eye of Miss Liberty from a clashing event with Reverse P.

Reverse P has acquired clash marks to the right o the denomination and through the C of CENT from a clashing event with Obverse 16.  Reverse P develops the following die crack:
1.  Die crack from the rim at 8:30 down into the wreath.

Comments:  The Obverse 16 off-center clash marks located at the right end of the ribbon and on the neck of Miss Liberty are most likely from the denticles from another die.  According to prevailing opinion, another die was pressed against Obverse 16 during its annealed state to determine hardness.  As a result of the contact of the hardened die against the softened state of Obverse 16, marks from the denticles of the hardened die remained on the portrait of Obverse 16.

The Reverse P clashing indicates two clashing events occurred at varying degrees of working die rotation.
