Clash Mark through C of CENT

Obverse 12 is identified by repunching to the south on the 1 of the date, with a die gouge above the right base of the 1, and date placement at B.  Obverse 12 is observed with rim breaks and the presence of die flow lines.

Reverse L is rotated 8 degrees counter clockwise and is observed with a clash mark through the C of CENT.  Reverse L is in a similar die state as obverse 12, with the presence of die flow lines.

Comments:  The obverse 12 die gouge above the right base of the 1 of the date is a characteristic of the working die and unrelated to the digit punch.

Plate Coin:  Bob Travis Collection, AU58
