Die Crack from 8:30

Obverse 5 is identified by far repunching to the east of the 1, repunching to the south of the 5 and at least two sets of 1865 digits in the denticles.  In addition, obverse 5 may be identified by a die chip located to the left of the last A of AMERICA.  Finally, the M of AMERICA has sustained die damage.  The following die cracks have been observed for obverse 5:
1.  Die crack through the feathers to the A of AMERICA.  Die breaks from the die crack occur within the fourth feather and within the field below the first A of AMERICA.

Reverse D is rotated 5 degrees counter clockwise.  Reverse D is observed with a heavy die crack from 8:30 into the first olive leaf.

Comments:  Obverse 5 will later be paired with reverse Q during the 1865 Plain 5 variety 15 die pairing.
