Obverse 32 is observed with date placement at RE.  Obverse 32 has acquired clash marks between feathers 7, 8 and 9 from a clashing event with Reverse AAE and has developed a rim break between 8:00 and 8:45 as well as the following die cracks:
1.  Die crack from the rim at 4:30 upward connecting the tops of 'A(MERI)CA'.
2.  Die crack from the denticles at 7:45 upward connecting the tops of 'UN(ITED)'.

Reverse AAE is rotated 7 degrees counter clockwise and is identified by a raised area above the right shield point and a set of parallel die lines below the uppermost acorn located within the right wreath.  Reverse AAE has acquired clash marks above (O)NE, through (C)ENT and to the right of the denomination from a clashing event with Obverse 32.  Reverse AAE has developed the following die cracks:
1.  Radial die crack from the rim at 1:15 downward into the wreath, where it splits into two die cracks.
2.  Heavy die crack from the rim at 1:15 downward through the right wreath to the rim at 3:30.
3.  Heavy die crack from the rim at 2:15 intersects die crack #2 within the right wreath.
4.  Radial die crack from the rim at 4:00 extends upward through the middle arrowhead and wreath.
5.  Radial die crack from the rim at 6:45 upward through the arrow quill and olive leaf above.
6.  Die crack form the rim at 8:00 extends into the olive leaves.
7.  Die crack from the rim at 9:45 downward through the left wreath, where it intersects with die crack #6.  A radial die crack extends from this crack from within the wreath at 9:15 towards the field area.
8.  Radial die crack from the rim at 10:30 into the left wreath.

Comments:  Reverse AAE has become extensively cracked, with the heaviest die cracking occurring between 1:15 and 2:15.  Based on the bi-level field area at 1:15 and the severity of the die cracking between 1:15 and 2:15, there is a high probability that Reverse AAE will develop a break in this area in a later die state.

Variety 36 experienced two separate clashing events between Obverse 32 and Reverse AAE.

Variety 36 was first identified by this author during early August 2018.
