Reverse AV Die Crack Mapping


Obverse 25 is observed with date placement at C.

Reverse AV develops a retained cud between 11:30 and 12:45 and the following die cracks:
1.  Die crack from the denticles at 3:45 into the middle arrowhead.
2.  Die crack from the rim at 8:00 upward through the wreath to a point at 10:30; Another crack extends from the rim at 8:30 into the olive leaves.  The two die cracks are connected by a small die break below the top olive leaf.

Comments:  Variety 29 was first identified by this author during mid September 2017.
